We are Repair and Restore, a house builder located in Auckland.

 

We have been in business for many years now and for a while we were very successfully involved in repairing leaky homes and restoring old villas to their former glory. However, we found that clients were referring us mainly to their friends for work on villas and major renovation work. So we decided to refocus our business on just a few aspects where we can really add tremendous value to our clients.

 

With that in mind, we have decided to concentrate on three specialist areas of the home construction industry.

 

Villa restoration

The first aspect that we now concentrate on is the restoration of villas and bungalows in Auckland. Lots of people are buying run-down villas and want to bring them up-to-date. With our highly trained builders and trades people, we can modernise the building in terms of the services like electricity, plumbing, heating etc and at the same time, we install modern appliances and design ideas so that you can end up with a modern home while retaining the charm of the original building.

 

Many of our projects employ the latest eco-friendly and energy efficient materials and techniques so not only does your home look fantastic but it also helps towards your energy bills and environmental footprint.

 

House renovations

The second aspect follows on from this in that we carry out major house renovations. These can vary from extensions by adding on extra bedrooms or building out your living room. Often people include kitchen and bathroom renovations or look to increase the usable internal space in their home by making the house more open-plan. We have found that the most successful renovations are undertaken in one big project rather than a number of smaller piece-meal jobs.

 

A single big job will cost less in total, keep your disruption to a minimum and be part of an integrated design.

 

New house building company

Lastly, the third area we work in these days is in building custom designed, larger scale new homes. Often these are on a life-style block or a large section of land people have bought. However, we also build new houses on sub-divisions as well.

 

The common thread to all of these types of building is that they are architecturally designed homes with top-end high specs. Our trades people are some of the best in the Auckland building and construction industry. Many builders simply rely on experience but our people undergo regular training so they keep up with modern trends, techniques and materials.
